NRC IE BULLETIN NO. 80-16 POTENTIAL MISAPPLICATION OF ROSEMON'I', INC.

MODELS 1151 AND 1152 PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS WITH EITHER "A" OR "D" OUTPUT CODES NO.1 AND 2 UNITS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION In reply to IE Bulletin No. 80-16 dated June 27, 1980, we offer the following at this time:

On August 27, 1980 we replied to the subject bulletin, as re-quired, indicating that we were awaiting a response from our Architect Engineer,, Bechtel Power Corporation, and expected to have our investigation of the bulletin completed at this time.

It has been reported by Bechtel that three suppliers might have possibly utilized subject Rosemont transmitters. Two have responded indicating no problem and one supplier has not responded to date. The supplier of whom a response is expected was last contacted on November 1, 1980.

PSEEG shall pursue completion of the investigation and will respond to the NRC by December 19, 1980.
