Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

OFFICE OF INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT BULLETIN 80 RII:JP@-32Q SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 In response to your letter dated November 6,1980, which transmitted IE Bulletin 80-21 on valve yokes supplied by Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc., we have completed the required review. We have determined that the active valves at Sequoyah unit 1 do not have any valve parts cast by Malcolm Foundry.

As requested in your letter, we estimate that TVA employees expended 50 manhours in conducting the review and preparing the correspondence required to comply with this bulletin.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with D. L. Lambert at FTS 857-2581.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY
