NRC STAFF'S RESPONSE TO APPLICANT'S MOTION FOR TERMINATION OF PROCEEDING Applicant on September 11, 1980, filed with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board a "Witharawal of Application" in the above-captioned proceeding and, in light of such withdrawal, a " Motion for Termination of Proceedinas" (Motion) before the Lt.ensing Board.
By Order dated September 30, 1980, the Licensing Board granted the NRC Staff's unopposed Motion for an extension of time for the filing of Staff's response to the Motion.
The Staff's Motion was based on the fact that Staff counsel was awaiting receipt of certain information. That information has now been received.
In view of the fact that the Sundesert site does not require any significant redress as a result of activities carried on by Applicant to date, the Staff does not object to the Applicant's Motion.
