As a result of informal discovery on contention 3a(iii),

j SC identified a concern with operational procedures for fuel channel change-out.

The parties agree : hat SC may particularize.a contention or contentions on this issue if thev so desire.

SC contentions 3a(i) and 3a(ii) encompass a number of g

generic unresolved safety issues.

In the course of informal discussions, SC indicated that they were interested in pursuing the following issues from the attached list (enclosure 1)-

1 II.4,II.5A, II.53, II.7, II.8, II.9, IIB.2, 113.3, IIC.5, IIC.7, 1

1 IID.1 and IIE.1.

Additionally, SC was concerned with NRC Task Action Plans A-24 and A-31.

Of these issues, the following will be pursued no further in this proceeding either because perti-1 1

nent County concerns have been resolved or because they will be covered in other SC contentions: II.4, II.9 II3.3, IIC.7, and i

tu 1.

The parties to this stipulation recuest that the Board accept the agreements set out in Part I above.

III.

There will be con:inuing efforts by the Applicant, Staff and County to resolve and/or adequately particularine the re-maining SC contentions.
