Supplemental Information

Dear Sir:

Pursuant to Section 50 59 of the Commissions Rules and Regulations, Vermont Yankee hereby proposes the following modification to Appendix A of the Operating License.

Proposed Change:

A change is proposed to Figures 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 of the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications to reflect the current organizational structure of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation and Yankee Atomic Electric Company and to include the Shift Technical Advisor on the on-site table of organization. The attached copies of Figures 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 are provided to replace the revisions of those figures forwarded by Reference (c).

Reason for Change:

Reference (b) transmitted model standard Technical Specifications which were intended to provide guidance in the scope and types of specifications required to assure that facility operation is maintained within acceptable limits following implementation of the TMI Lessons Learned Category "A" items. We have determined that revision to Figare 6.1.2 of the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications is appropriate. The revision to Figure 6.1.1 reflects a change in the organizational structure of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation and Yankee Atomic Electric Company. These revisions are identified above and in the attached Technical Specification pages.

This proposed change is administrative in nature.

This proposed change has been reviewed by the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Committee.

Fee Determination:

This change is pro forma, administrative in nature, and has no safety or environmental significance. For these reasons, Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation proposes this change as a Class II Amendment. A payment of

$1,200.00 has already been provided by Reference (c).

Schedule of Change:

The changes described above will be incorporated into the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications upon receipt of your approval.
