As required by the Bullctin, South Texas Project systems have been reviewed to detemine whether mercury-wetted relays are used in the STP reactor protection system (RPS).

As a result of this review, HL&P has detemined that the STP RPS does not include mercury-wetted relays; therefore, this Bulletin does not affect the South Texas Project.

Manpower expenditures in responding to this Bulletin, including prorated i

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. L. R. Jacobi at (713) 481-7217.
