4 UNITLD STATES NUCLEAR REGULATbR5 COMMISSION DOCKET N05. 50-3l3 AND 50-368 ARKANSAS POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS TO FACILITY OPERATING LICEN5ES The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Anendnent Nos. 46 and 15 to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-51 and NPF-6, issued to Arkansas Power and Light Conpany (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit Nos.1 and 2, respectively, (the facilities) located in Pope County, Arkansas.
The amendnents are effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendments revise the Environmental Technical Specifications relating I
to the design objective for radioactive gaseous releases, the requirements for a quarterly report on radioactive gaseous releases, the allowable hourly radio-active gaseous release rate, and the maximum allowable radioactive gaseous releases in a calendar quarter.
The revisions comply with the applicable requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix I.
1he application for these amendments complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter 1, which are set forth in these license amendments.
Prior public notice of these amendments was not required since these amendments do not involve a significant hazards consideration.
