TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I am very concerned that consideration is even being given to the reopening of the undamaged TMI unit.
Knowing the hazards of radioactive wastes and the imperfections of the technology dealing with this problem, I am astounded that any nuclear plants remain in operation.
I would hope that concern for human life would be the motivating force behind a permanent closing of TMI.
If not the devastating e oncmics, imperfect technology and environmental destruction shou'ld serve'~to k~ esp the plant closed.
