(Fulton Generating Station, Units 1 and 2) ) 50-463, 50-464 APPLICANT'S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME Philadelphia Electric Company (PE), whose brief on exceptions in the aoove-captioned docket is due to be filed April 16, 1981, hereby moves for an extension until Monday, April 27, 1981, and in support thereof states as follows:

1. PE noted its exemptions from the ASLB Decision and Order dismissing its application in this matter with prejudice on March 17, 1981. Its brief would normally be due 30 days later, on April 16.
2. Due to illness in his family, counsel for PE has been unable to devote full attention to this and other pending matters during' the past five weeks, and despite diligent efforts is not able to ensure timely completion of PE's brief absent an extension of approximately the length requested.

3. Counsel for the Regulatory Staff, contacted by telephone this morning, does not object to the relief sought by this motion. An attempt was made to reach the authorized representative of intervenors York Coalition, et al.,

Dr. Chauncey Kapford; there is no publicly listed telephone number in his name at his stated mailing addresss. Because of the posture of this proceeding, PE believes that no party will be prejudiced by the relief sought.

4. Counsel for PE contacted the Chairman of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board, Richard S. Saltzman, Esq.

today to notify him that this motion would be imminently filed.

WHEREFORE, Philadelphia Electric Company moves that the deadline for submission of its brief on exceptions be extended until April 27, 1981.
