This letter is in response to the referenced letter concerning your inspection report 70-687/80-06.

Bloassays specifically for uranium have not always been performed when doing routine gamma analyses for radionuclides in employee urine specimens. Henceforth, specific analysis for uranium will be performed on urine specimens from those employees who routinely work with 'open sources of-uranium-235 at least once per year. More frequent bioassays will be performed if it is likely that certain Individuals could_have been exposed to significant airborne radio-activity.
