UtilTED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY C0!411SS10N DOCKET NO. 50-313 ARKANSAS POWER & LIGHT C0f1PANY fl0TICE OF ISSUANCE OF A!!ENDf'ENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. 5. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Comission) has issued Amend-ment No. 52 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-51, issued to Arkansas Power and Light Company (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No.1 (the facility) located in Pope County, Arkansas. The amen &1ent is effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendment modifies the Technical Specifications to support operation at full' rated power during Cycle 5.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulatior.5. The Conmission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards con-sideration.
The Comission has detemined that the issuance of this amendnent will not result in any significant environmental inpact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4), and environmental impact statement or negative declaration and envimnmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amenunent.
