We appeal to you from Maine and as past residents of the Three Mile Islar.d area not to allow the re-start of Unit One. The stress that we experience will never leave us. It was three days before the venting of the Krypton 85, etc. from the containment building that we left the Newberrytown area for good.
To have remained there would have meant a. nervous breakdown or even worse. Although we 1Lve in Maine the Three Mile Island disaster will never leave-us.
I appeal to you for the sake of all of us that have been the real victims of TML not.to allow the start of Unit 1 and I also appeal to the Commissioners to stop the insanity of Nuclear Power. Be honest with yourselves for our sake and that of future generations and stop this irresponsible path to destruction.
