-LICENSES DPR-6 A?;D DPR-20 BIG ROCK POINT AND PALISADES PLANTS The purpose of this letter is to update previous responses to IE Bulletins 75-04 and 75-OkA for the Big Rock Point and Palisades Plants.

Approximately 70% of the deficient floor and vall penetration seals have been corrected at Palisades at this writing. Work is in progress and it is esti-mated that another 10 to 15 working days are required for ce=pletion.

At present, the Big Rock Point M ant staff is continuing to evaluate two proposals for floor and vall penetration seals. One proposal consists of mineral vool, Marinite board and Fla=elr.stic. The other consists of a silicone RTV foam. No installation schedule has been developed.

The Palisados Plant staff is continuing to evaluate the recc==endations re-garding additional fire prevention and suppression equipment. Additional air breathing equip =ent has been ordered to enhance operator ability to shut down the plant if roo=s become smoke filled.

Vendor proposals have been solicited regarding additional fire detection and suppression equipment at the Big Rock Point Plant. After these proposals are received and reviewed, a schedule foi-installation vill be established.
