NUCLEAR REGULATORY C07:41SS10N THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, effective the 1st day of January 1981, by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (hereinafter referred to as the
" Government"), as represented by the UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY CC7JilS-t SION (hereinafter referred to as the " Commission"), and THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA (hereinafter referred to as the " Contractor").
WITNESSETH THAT:
as hereinafter WHEREAS, the parties desire to modify Contract No. NRC-04-76-314 provided, and this supplemental agreement is authorized by law, including the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended, and the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, said contract is hereby modified as follows:
Appendix A, attached to this supplemental agreement and made a part hereof, 1.
provides for the research to be performed by the Contractor during the contract period speciffed therein.
In Article II - The Period of Performance, the date " December 31, 1981 "
2, is substituted for the date " December 31, 1980 ".

In Article III - Consideration, the sum "$433,293.00" is substituted for the sum "$ 375,019.00'.

- Geological Studies of the Nemaha Upitft Region - Oklahoma"
__r Continue to conduct detailed microearthquake studies.
Continue to operate the eleven station seismic network which includes the Tulsa observatory, seven semipermanent volunteer-operated and three radio-telemetry staticns.
Reduce microearthquake data obtained from the network and attempt to determine the' relationship betweei; saismicity and structure.
Coordination rasults with those obtained from earthquake studies in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.
Complete gravity and magnetic information from studies conducted along the t'eoaha in Oklahoma.
(b) The Principal Investigator expects to devote the following approximate amount (s) cf tice to the centract work:

Article A-III The total estimated cost of items under A-II(a) above for the centract period stated in this Appendix A is $ 77,459.00 ; the Commission will pay 75.2 percent of the actual costs of these items incurred during the centract period stated in this Appendix A, subject to the provisions of Article III and Article B-XXVIII.
Tne estimated NRC Support Cost for the contract period stated in this Appendix A is $58,274.00 Tne estimated NRC Support Cost is fuaded as follows:
