Plans for Resolving the Deficienev Mississippi Power & Light Company is working with the construc-tor to evaluate the deficiency for reportability under 10CFR 50.55(e) and 10CFR21. The following steps will be performed and tracked under Bechtel Quality Action Request (QAR) No.
F-234 to ensure that this ite= is adequately resolved:
1.
Evaluate the deficiency for effect on safety of plant operations; 2.
Deter =ine the extent of the deficiency; and 3.
Perform corrective actions, including actions to prevent recurrence.
III. Status of the Proposed Resolution The constructor is still investigating the condition. However, since our initial report, eleven other similar failures have been documented.
