Dear Mr. Youngblood:
In response to a request from the Mechanical Engineering Branch regarding the NRC Staff's confirmatory analysis of piping subsystem RH-04, additional information on the allowable accelerations for valves lE12-F092A and lE12-F041A are attached.
Another related discussion regarding the allowables used to evaluate vessel nozzles was discussed with MEB in a telecon on February 5, 1981 and resolved the Staff's concern without the need for a supplemental submittal.
