Environmental Qualification of Safety-Related Equipment

Dear Sir:

Reference (b) requested that Vermont Yankee provide pertinent information relative to environmental qualification tests to be conducted within the next two years on equipment used or to be used in our facility.

At this time, we are participating in several industry programs to qualify specific -items of equipment as identified below:

Equipment Supplier High Range Radiation Monitors Victoreen Acoustic Acceleremeters (Safety Valve Babcock and Wilcox position monitoring)

Pressure Switches (Safety / Relief Valve General Electric position monitoring)

Model NE10 Transmitters Foxboro Model 1153 D Transmitters Rosemount These programs are ongoing efforts, therefore, specific dates for performing individual tasts are not available.
