Dear Mr..Grier:
This is in partial response to IE Bulletin 80-21 focwarded to us on Noverber 6,1980, concerning valve yokes supplied by Malcolm Foundry Ccx:pany, Inc.
The suppliers of active valves in safety related systans at Limerick are being request.2d to provide us with infonnation concerning use of castings furnished by Malcolm Fourriry Cmpany, Inc.
To date, apprtacimately one third have stated that they have never used Malcolm Foundry as a supplier of castings.
Anchor Darling Valve Ccmpany, the ccInpany that first socperienced a problen with the Malcolm Foundry castings, has also assured us that they have not used Malcolm Foundry castings on any valve manfactured by than for Limerick Generating Station.
