By letters dated June 3, 1977 Consumers Power Company was requestea~to provide a

detailed analysis on facility design features, submit proposed Technical Sp*:ifi-cations and list plant modifications based on the Safety Evaluation and State =ent of Staff Positions concerniag on-site emergency power systems.
At this time the systems analysis necessary to provide the requested items has not been completed.
It is expected that the analysis will be ccepleted by early October 1977, a., which time a thorough response, will be submitted for both the Big Rock Point and Palisades Plants.
