Dear Dr. Doan:
Enclosed herewith are one original and forty-two (42) conformed copies of the report on natural circulation testing at the Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant, submitted in accordance with the re-quest of Mr. Edson G. Case in a letter to Consumers Power Company dated September 1, 1964.
Included in this report are descriptions.of test equipment, test procedures and analyois techniques, data collected during the tests and the results of the analyses. From these' data and analyses, we conclude that the Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant can be operated at significant power levels for extended periods in the natural circulation mode while maintaining sizeable safety margins.
