The Ehmergency Plan complies with 10 CFR 50 Appendix E, ANS 15.6 Emergency Planning l
for Research Reactors, and Regulatory Guide 2.6 Emergency Planning for Research l
Reactors.
The Ford IBuclear Reactor has been operating under this plan since 1975. Two Region III inspections of the facility Emergency Plan and emergency preparedness have been aa=Ameted.
100 deficiencies were, found. Even though submittal of the plan has not been specifically requested, we are aware that other research reactors are being required to submit emergency plans as part of their license renewal process. We are anticipating that requirement in order to facilitate our license renewal when it occurs.
