7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY C09'ISSION DOCKET NO.50-33S VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued 5

i Amendmnt No. 21 to Facility Operating Li.ense No. NPF-4 issued to the Virginia Electric and Power Company (the licensee) for operation of the North Anna Power Station, Unit No.1 (the facility) located in Louisa Cou,nty, Virginia.

The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance and is to be implemented as soon as practicable but not later than June 30, 1982.

l The enendment revises a license condition to require.that certain Sarton Lot 1 Transmitters inside containment 'be modified or replaced as soon as practicable but not later then June.30.,1982.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic' Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act),

and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules.

and regulations in 10-CFR' Chapter I, which'are set forth in the license amendment.. Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration..
