Dear Dr. Trifunac:

This letter will confirm the appointment arranged this morning that you will be available for a deposition under oath at your office on Wednesday, December 10, 1980, commencing at 11:15 a.m.

Your office address is Room 384, DenneyResearch Building, Vennont Avenue, University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles.

This deposition is being taken in this remanded proceeding (see item one enumerated below) pursuant to the presiding Appeal Board's Order of November 6,1980, authorizing such discovery.

At the deposition, the undersigned Staff counsel will be accompanied by Dr. Leon Reiter and perhaps, one other seismologist.

It is my understanding that Thomas G. Dignan, Esq., also plans to participate in the deposition et al.

Counsel on behalf of the Public Service Company of New Hampshire, EaEd he does for the New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution has ind not presently plan to participate.

In the course of the deposition,'the undersigned Staff counsel may ask you questions concerning the following documents which are attached for your convenience:
