SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE UNIT TWO NOVEMBER, 1980 11-1 to 11-20 Unit Two started the month operating at a power level of 386 MWe.

On November 20, at 1643, the Unit was manually scrammed when 2B CRD pump failed to restart after four attempts.

11-21 to 11-24 The Unit was placed back on the system at 1013, reaching a power level of 354 MWe.

On November 24, the Unit scrammed on a Group I Isolation while performing a MSL Hi Flow Isolation Surveillance DIS 250-1, 11-25 to 11-30 The reactor was brought critical on t

November 25 and was placed back on the e

system at 1233 that same day. The Unit continued operating through the remainder of the month, reaching a power level of i

352 MWe, with a capacity factor and availability of 43% and 94%, respectively.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE UNIT THREE NOVEMBER, 1980 11-1 to 11-26 Unit Three started the month operating at a power level of 446 MWe, On November 26, at 0130, the reactor scrammed on a Group I Isolation when the reactor mode switch was switched from Run to Startup. Apparently, not all the contacts made up properly when the mode switch was placed in startup and a sub-sequent MSIV closure and scram resu,1ted when system pressure went below 850#.

11-26 to 11-30 The Unit was placed back on the system at 1520 on November 26, reaching a power level of 761 MWe, with a capacity factor and availability of 91% and 98%, respec-tively.
