Dear Mr Seyfrit:

In the above refe enced letter, PSC stated that the NRC staff wcald be advised of any sc edule problems regarding PSC's proposed instrument bus modifications.

Tl e status of our previous commitments are as follows:

1.

Addition of undervoltage alarm to 120 VAC Noninterruptible Bus 3:

The engineering is complete on this project and all material has been procured.

Installation will take place as soon as plant conditions allow.

2.

Addition of automatic transfer switches to Noninterruptible Suses i

1,2,&3 and to Interruptible Buse 3:

PSC has pursued procurement of original equipment manufacturer modification kits to achieve the desired automatic tnrow over.

These kits could not be provided with the necessary seismic qualifications.

Due to forthcoming plant i

- modifications, PSC is also increasing the capacity of Noninterruptible Bus 3.

These modifications will require a plant outage of several days and are being rescheduled for the Fort St. Vrain second refueling outage plannad for September 1981.
