Dear sirs,

I am writing to requestsome information on events during the % arch 28 accident at TMI.

As I was 1.ving in Lancaster Penna at the time.of the azzitx

accident, I am particularly concerned about the following questions ;

How much radiation was released by the plant?

Which isotopes

[

were raleased?

When were they released?

Were they j

released into the atmosphere, the Susquehanna River, etc?

How much raf.iation was received in Lancaster, Pa?

Which isotopes, when, ete?

What is the level of backround radiation in Lancaster?

.w W r k

What is considered to be the maximum safe level of exposure So for the ge.'eral public?

Where did this standard come from?

Can you give me the reference f

to this eport (or a1 copy)?

Would you comment on this?

'How was the decision to evacuate at 1000 millirem: / hour reached?

Why 1000 millirems?

I have read that the limit for the genera 2 public is 0.17 rem per year (= 170 millirems).

Why then wait to evacuate until the level reaches 1000 mi'llirems per hour ?

I am particularly concerned about.the first two, but I would appreciate any information or references.you_ could send me.
