Dear Mr. Denton:
j The SNUPPS Utilities are planning to conduct an internal reyiew of the

1 material contained in the SNUPPS FSAR Chapter 8, " Electric Power".
This review will include presentations by personnel from Bechtel Power Corporation tc a panel of respresentatives of Kansas Gas and Electric Comoany and 011on Electric Comoany.
It is expected that this panel will have questions and discussion items for Bechtel.
It is our understand-ing that Lawrence Livermore Laboratory will 'be conducting at least some of the review of the electric. power systems of SNUPPS for the NRC staff.
It is therefore suggested that representatives of both the NRC's Power Systems Branch and Lawrence Livemore attend this SNUPPS review session.
I The review meeting will require two full days and the plans are to hold j
the meeting at Bechtel's offices in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The tenta-tive date for the meeting is December 9-10, 1980.
Please let us know as soon as poss31e if the hib~ and Lawrence-Litermore will be able to attend, or if an alternative date would be more conve'ntent.
