NRC I&E BULLETIN NO.79-01B ENVIRONMENTAL OUALIFICATION OF CLASS IE EQUIPMENT
Dear Mr. Grier:
The FitzPatrick Plant, its Architect-Engineer and General Electric have completed an evaluation of the qualification of Class IE electric equipment against the guidelines of the subject bulletin and supplements. This evaluation includes identification of those components for which the qualification test data is inadequate or incomplete. These components are identified on the individual Component Evaluation Work Sheets ccntained in Enclosure 1.
For those components where the qualification data is incomplete or missing, qualification testing or replacement with qualified components will be undertaken on a schedule which wiFi result in full qualification by June 30, 1982. includes, in the Preface, a discussion of the justification for continued operation of the James A.
