Dear Congressman Brooks:
Thank you for your correspondence dated October 20, 1980, which requested information from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission relative to the concerns expressed _in a letter to you from Howard Pyle of Houston Lighting and Power Company, dated September 4,1980. Mr. Pyle's letter indicated a concern about a delay in the hearing regarding Allens Creek Nuclear Power Project because of conflicting responsibilities on the part of several members of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
Sin e the time Mr. Pyle wrote to you, the conflicting responsibilities of the Board members have been eliminated and the hearing on the application for a Construction Pennit is scheduled to commence on January 12, 1981 in HousLn, Texas.
