MIDLAND SITE - SPECIFIC SEISMIC DESIGN SPECTRA - PRELIMINARY IhTORMATION PREPARATORY TO MEETING WITH NRC FILE 0485.16 UFI 00234(S) SERIAL 10128 71*01 We are forwarding the enclosed preliminary information on a site specific response spectra for SSE for Midland which has been prepared specifically for presentation and discussion at our December 5,1980 meeting. We hope that this information is sufficient in content to assist your Geosciences Branch to prepare for this meeting.
After the presentation and subsequent discussions of this seismic response spectra with the hTC Staff, it is our. hope that we can quickly reach agreement with the Staff regarding supplementary seismic analyses that the Staff may desire as part of their review of the Midland FSAR and the remedial actions associated with the soils settlement question.
