Dear Mr. Hayes:

Southern Company Services has concluded the review for a significant deficiency concerning the defective bolting material provided by Southern Bolt and Fastener. Since the defective bolts were A-490 and the bol ts received at Plant Vogtle are SA-193 Grade B7, and since the vendor has reported only A-490 material was affected, it has been concluded that a reportable deficiency does not exist.

If you have any questions, please advise.
