This is in msponse to your letter dated October 31,1980 which transmitted a request for exemption from License Condition 3.1 and 10 CFR 70.58(e) to receive and store three tamper-safed dnans of SNH from UNC Recovery Systes without further SNM measurements.
We have detennined that granting your request will not adversely affect the cosman defense and security nor the public health and safety and is othemise in the public interest. Acconfingly, the following license condition is hereby added to /cendment MPP-1 of your License No. SNM-368, effective inanediately, to read as follows:
Notwithstanding the requirements of License Condition 3.1 and 10 CFR 70.58(e) to measure the uranium and uranium-235 content of the three drums of SNM from UNC Recovery Systus referred to in the October 31, 1980 letter, the licensee may receive and ship this tamper-safed material without further SM measurements.
