move for a ten day extension of time to file intervenors Answering Brief concerning this Board's review of the Memorandum and Order of NEPA Review issued.by Licensing Board herein.

In support of this motion Intervenors state the following:

1.

Herbert Semmel, Intervenors present attorney of record was retained in October 1980.

Adequate representation of intervenors requires review of an overwhelming amount of documents and records and legal arguments.

2.

Consultation between counsel and Intervenors is delayea by the fact that Intervenors reside in Michigan and e

and Intervenors limited resources.

Ms. Moore, counsel for the NRC staff and Mr.

Gallo, counsel for Consumer Power Company have both agreed to a ten day extension of time for the filing of Intervenors Brief, provided the time for filing their reply brief is also extended ten days.

Based upon the information contained herein, and in the interest of fairness, Intervenors request that this ten day extension be granted and the schedule for filing of briefs be as follows:

Intervenors Brief in Support Thursday, December 4, 1980 of Memorandum and Order of NEPA Review.

NRC Staff, and Consumer Power Monday, December 22, 1980 Company reply briefs due.
