Dear Sirs:
Pursuant to'the requirements of Section 5.7 of the Technical-Specifications submitted as Proposed Change No. 105 we hereby report the following abnormal occurrence, designated A.O. No. 73-2.
On May 3,1975 at 0838 hours0.0097 days <br />0.233 hours <br />0.00139 weeks <br />3.18859e-4 months <br /> a severe electrical disturbance took place on a 69 kV transmission line of the New England Power Company. This line operation actuated the plant low main coolant flow under-current relays of the main coolant pump motors for 'locps No. 2 and No. 3 resulting in a reactor scram and turbine generator trip from 575 mkt.
Following a survey of plant equipment and systems, which indica ed no adverse or unsafe condition, the reactor was taken critical and the plant returned to power.
