Dear Sirs:
Following a plant review it has been determined that the following incident is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 5.7 of the Technical Specifications submitted with Proposed Change No. 105.
A routine surveillance test was being conducted on the No. 3 Emergency Diesel Generator on December 27, 1973. Several minutes after the test was initiated, a radiator coolant hose re-leased from a recirculating heater outlet connection. The diesel generator was secured.
A hose cla p was found to be loose. The hose was reinstalled and the clamp tightened. The engine was restarted and the surveillance test concluded successfully.
Very tmly yours,
