Enclosed, for the information of your Subcommittee, is a copy of the report, "NRC Plan for Cleanup Operations at Three Mile Island Unit 2."
This report, prepared by the NRC staff, outlines the NRC ll planned actions during the Three Mile Island Unit 2 cleanup operations.

Since major uncertainties in the condition of the reactor plant currently exist, portions of this plan are subject to modification as cleanup work and related investigations continue. However, the estimated schedule together with the milestones discussed in the

NRC plan would provide an adequate planning base for the NRC actions.
