Dear Mr. Ballard:
Clinton Power Stations Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-461 and 50-462 Construction Permits Nos. CPPR-137 & CPPR-138 By the referenced letter Illinois Power Company informed you of its plans to petition the Illinois Pollution Control Board for a modification of the alternate thermal standard adopted in 1975 for the Clinton Power Station.
We also agreed to provide for NRC Staff information, copies of our petition and the pertinent support documents.
Transmitted herewith is a copy of our petition to amend Rule 203(i)(10)(aa) of Chapter 3 of the Illinois Pollution Control Board rules and regulations including exhibits to the petition as follows:
Exhibit 1 - Environmental Monitoring Program Exhibit 2 - Spray Module Cost Estimate Exhibit 3 - Thermal Demonstration We plan to keep you apprised of actions taken relative to our petition.
