Dear Sir:
We are experiencing a severe heat wave here in Texas, with
' temperatures reaching 100 degrees and above daily.
It is humanly impossible, under these conditions, for construction workers to do the excellent work required of them when they work on a nuclear reactor.
5 Therefore, in my opinion, all construction on the Texas nuclear reactors at Bay City and Glen Rose should be halted until temperatures once again reach normal levels for this season.
It is the responsibility of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to immediatly prohibit any further construction on the reactors until such time as the weather regulates itself.
I would appreciate reading your opinion.on this very important issue.
Thank you for a prompt reply.
