Pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552 and 10 C.F.R.
S 9.3 et_ seq., I hereby request that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) make available for inspection and copying all records and correspon-dence relat.ing,to all discussions, negotiations, and/or communications between the federal government and the General Electric Company (GE) with respect to the possible purchase, lease, condemnation, or any other form of acquisition or taking by the federal government of all or any part of the GE facility at Morris, Illinois, formerly known as the Midwest Fuel Recovery Plant.
If the NRC believes that any such records or portions of such records are exempt from release, please itemize with specificity the records withheld and provide a detailed justifica-tion for application of any such exemption to each such record.
In addition, please provide all reasonably segregable non-exempt portions of any record for which an exemption is claimed.
