Dear Mr. Hiller:

This is in partial response to your letter of July 18, 1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of documents regarding the possible purchase, lease, or condemnation by the Federal Government of any or all of the GE Morris Facility.

Please find enclosed documents, as listed on Appendix A, which are subject to your request.

You agreed, in your letter, to pay for costs of reproduction up to $500.

The cost of reproducing the enclosed 454 pages is $45.40. Please send a check made payable to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission in the amount of $45.40, along with a copy of this letter, to the Director, Divisi]n of Rules and Records, Room MNBB-4210, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission, Washington, DC 20555.

One document, a transcript dated September 13, 1979 and filed under Docket No. 70-2623 (pages 4483 through 4693), has already been made available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (POR),1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20555.

The charge for reproducing records located in the PDR is eight cents ($0.08) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(a).

Copies of this document can be purchased by writing directly to the PDR. A copy of your letter has been sent to the POR and they will arrange for the record to be reproduced by Potomac Research, Inc., a private reproduction contractor servicing the PDR.

You will be billed by Potomac Research, Inc., for the reproduction charges, plus tax and postage.

In addition, several documents which originated with the Department of Energy have been referred to DOE for review and direct response to you.
