Dear Sirs:
I am writing this letter to voice my dissatisfaction with nuclear power 7
plants. Since human error cannot be eliminated or controlled we should eliminate the nuclear power plants. As there is no harmless way to do away with the w:ste w'.y koop producting a pro tet that we cannet dispece of.
A Now they want to du: p water which someone says is okay, into the Susquehanna River. I just wonder if the people who want the nuclear power plants were to have to live beside the: or have the waste buried in their back yards., if they still would favor such plants. We can't live for today only, we must consider the next generations.
heenty years ago they used xray to treat some types of illness. Today they know that can cause cancer and no longer use this method of treatment. What will we find out about radioactive waste 20 years from now and wish sometiing would have been done differently.
As far as T!!I is concerned it appears to be one error on top of another. To a person such as I, who knows absolutely nothing about nuclear power, it would seem next to impossible for one plant to do so many tPdngs wrong.
To sum it up I believe we should phase out nuclear power plaats and I do not want the waste water discharged in the Susquehanna River.
Sincerely, i
lG:
