Re: R-80051196 Transmitted herewith for filing under the provisions of Section 1308 of the Public Utility Code is this Company's Tariff klectric Pa.P.U.C. No. 44, which bears an issue date of July 29, 1980 and which is proposed to become effective September 27, 1980. This new tariff cancels this Company's Tariff Electric Pa.P.U.C. No. 42 and provides for changes in the " General Rules and Regulations" and for a general increase in base rates affecting all classes of service. The following material is submitted with the filing,: Eight copies of Original Tariff Electric Pa.P.U.C. No. 44, with the support-ing data required by 52 Pa. Code Sections 53.51, 53.52 and 53.53. Attached to the supporting data is a list of statements and exhibits, identified by witness, and a cross-reference sheet indicating where the responses to the respective filing requirements may be found. . Proof of service of notice of the proposed changes will be filed with the Commission as soon as service (in the manner authorized in the Cotrmission's Special Permission granted  ! on May 29, 1980 in the above docket) has been completed. I Posters in the form prescribed in 52 Pa. Code Section 53.41(1) have been posted in each Company office where payment of bills for service is accepted. We enclose an extra copy of this transmittal letter to be receipted for the Cgmpany's , files.
