The referenced letter is an interim report of a potential reportable deficiency concerning a thin-walled elbow in the RPV drain line.
I At the time of the report, Illinois Power Company estimated that a final report would be filed in August, 1980.
Subsequently, the following events occurred:
1.
July 17, 1980 - General Electric informed Illinois Power Company I
that GE's investigation would require about eight weeks after l
receipt of the elbow.
2.
July 24, 1980 - The drain line elbow was removed.
3.
On or about July 30, 1980 - General Electric received the elbow.
In consideration of the above, Illinois Power Company now estimates that the final report will be filed about mid to late October, 1980; no further interim reporting is anticipated.
