This is to inform you, in accordance with the requirements of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act, that the NRC has not completed licensing action on your application XUO8473 to export depleted uranium to France for enrichment at EURODIF.
Executive Branch views on this application were received on February 11 and forwarded to the Commission for review on March 17, 1980.
Final NRC licensing action has been delayed pending clarificatior, from the Executive Branch of certain issues in connection with requirements of the NNPA.
The staff has recer.t.ly received information on this matter from the Ex-ecutive Branch and is forwarding this information to the Commission to complete its review. We expect final Commission action on this case in the near future.
