DOCKET N06. 50-266 AND 50-301 FURTHER PISPONSE TO IE BULLifIN 79-14 POINT 3EACH MUCLCAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 IE Bulletin 79-14 requires licensoes to verify for aafety-related piping systems that the as-built systems conform to the as-designed scismic analysis and acceptance criteria.

The purpose of this submittal is to provido a progress report on cur aulletin ccmplianco program.

This report is our fifth subeittal and is a supplement to our responses of August 1, September 7,

'lovember 2, and Decenber 20, 1979.

As reported in our December 1979 curmittal, casentially all of *,ho piping common to both nuclear units and that located inside the Unit 1 containment structuro had been inspected and judge' eparable.

Our December subnittal also provided a four page table showing the status of the pipo line stress analysis and pipe support analysis that was being pursued as a result of our program.

Attached hereto is our updated analytical schedule that shows the status of our program as of February 29, 1330; the attached schedule is quito similar to that contained in our Decenber submittal.

The attached achedulo shown that the piping stress analysis has been completed for 52 drawings (611) and the pipe supports have been evaluated for 26 (31%) of these pipe lines.

While this dces not appear to be substantial progress with respect to our Cecamber submittal, some calculations previously reported as 'DONE have been determined to requiro further work when reviewed and checked in detail.

Thus, in those cases, the attached schedule presents a date and we believe that this achedule can be maintained.
