Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
_The NRC letter of September 5, 1980 provided preliminary clarifications l
and implementation schedules for the NRC Action Plan Requirements.. The i
following information is. submitted in response to the NRC requirement of l
the Action Plan Sections II.K.3.30 and II.K.3.31 regarding small-break l
LOCA analysis:
II.K.3.30 Revised Small-Break LOCA Models to Show Compliance L
With.10 CFR 50, Appendix K.-
l The present Westinghouse small-break LOCA model used to analyze I
the! Trojan plant is in comformance with 10 CFR 50, Appendix K.

However, in response to the requirement of the September 5, l
1980 NRC' letter, Westinghouse has indicated that they will address the specific NRC items for completion by January - 1, 1982.
A detailed outline of: the scope and schedule of this effort was provided to the1NRC by Westinghouse on September 26, 1980 -(T. M. Anderson's letter to' D. G. Eisenhut).
II.K.3.31 - Specific Calculation to Show Compliance With 10 CFR'50.46.
If the.results of the new Westinghouse model (and subsequent-lNRC~ review and' approval) indicate that,the present small-break
