.In regards to IE Bulletin No. 79-19, we respectfully submit the following information and description of our procedures at McKay-Dee Hospital Center.
We are licensed for'the 99 M0 Generator; however, we have not ined it nor do we intend to use it at this time.
As a result, we do not geaerate low-
. level radioactive waste.that would need to be transported fcr burial. All radioactive materials used at this Hospital are received fract the Inter-mountain Radiopharmacy Program, University of Utah Medical Center la Salt
' Lake City, utan; In response to the three questions posed in the Bulletin, we offer the following answers:
. Questions,1 and..2,..No low-level. radioactive waste shipments 4
were made from the McKay-Dee Hospital Cent.-
during 1978 and 1979.
Question 3, No liquid low-level radioactive waste is generated at this institution.
