Dear Mr. Keppler:
In accordance with your request, the following information is provided in response to IE Bulletin No. 80-16.
All Rosemont Model 1152 Pressure Transmitters supplied for the Perry Plant have been identified. Tnose transmitters procured directly from Rosemont have "E" output codes, and are not affected under this bulletin. Our NSSS supplier has identified Model 1152 pressure transmitters with output codes "A" or "D" in the Reactor Heat Removal and Reactor Core Isolation Cooling Systems. The amplifier boards of all affected transmitters will be replaced with new "E" boards, per Rosemont's recommendation.
Corrective action will begin in September and replacement should be coeplete by January 1, 1981.
This information was provided as a potential significant deficiency in our letter dated June 30, 1980.
