In accordance with your suggestion, this statement has been included in Alabama Power Company's Policy Statement Manual which is distributed throughout the Company. Attached is a copy of the referenced page from that manual.

It is a policy of Alabama Power Company to make the safe operation of the Joseph M. Farley fluclear Plant absolute top priority.
l IMPLEMENTATION:
It is the responsibility of the fluclear Generation Department to insure that the Joseph M. Farley fluclear Plant cperate in a completely safe manner. Alabama Power Company will not operate this plant at anytime t.nless we are completely confident that it is safe to do so. This colicy is more conservative than any limits imposed by the terms of Alabama Power Company's operating license.
