Petersen's data requests sent to C. W. Smyth on November 9, 1979, you requested us to keep the NRC informed of significant regulatory developments affecting the GPU companies. Accordingly, the enclosed material (8 copies) has been sent for that purpose.
The enclosed letter from F. D. Hafer gives the details on a conference planned for August 19s 1980, concerning two Jersey Central petitions
- 1) amendments to the revolving credit agreement and 2) the sale of uranium.

Conference on Jersey Central's Petitions to the :;J 3PU Seeking Approval of (1) Amendments to its Revolving Credit Agreement, and (2) the Sale of Uranium A conference to review these two petitions has been scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 19 at the Board's Conference Roo=, 1100 Raymond Boulevard, : ewark, ::cw Jersey. The Petition seeking the Ecard's approval of the Revolving Credit Agreement A=endments was filed with the Board on July 31, 1s30 by JCP&L's counsel, R. O. Brokaw. The Petitica seeking approval of the uranius sale was filed with the Board on August 1, 1980 by JCPLL's counsel, R. S. Cohen.
Also scheduled for the conference, on a time permitting basis, is a review of JCPSL's C'4IP to be included in rate base as a result of the Board 's :tly 12, 1930 Order granting $60 million cf interia rate relief (reference: P. Preis' letter to Secretary Calabrese, dated July 13, 19S0).
